bnbANALYTICA ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

When you use bnbANALYTICA, we collect the following information:

• Airbnb listing URL — submitted by you to generate a report
• Email address — required for report delivery and (if applicable) account creation
• Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store card details
• Usage data — page visits and conversion events tracked via Google Analytics (anonymized IP)

3. How we use your data

• To generate and deliver your audit report (PDF via email)
• To process your payment via Stripe
• To send transactional emails related to your order (report delivery, receipt)
• To store your report in your account dashboard so you can re-access it as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion
• To improve the service using aggregated, anonymized analytics

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data storage and retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

• Audit reports (listing URL, generated content) — retained for up to 24 months from the date of generation, then permanently deleted.
• Account data (email, plan status) — retained while your account is active. Inactive accounts with no subscription and no report activity in 24 months are automatically deleted.
• Payment references (Stripe customer ID, transaction records) — retained for 10 years as required by Swiss accounting law (OR Art. 958f).

You may request deletion of your data at any time via our contact form. We will action your request within 30 days.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate bnbANALYTICA:

• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic Claude — AI analysis (listing URL and scraped data sent for report generation)
• Apify — Airbnb listing data scraping
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Google Analytics — anonymized website analytics (requires cookie consent)

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary.

6. Cookies

We use a single analytics cookie (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or decline this cookie via the banner shown on your first visit. Strictly necessary cookies (session, security) are used without consent.

7. Your rights (GDPR / Swiss DSG)

If you are located in the EU or Switzerland, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

8. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access-controlled databases, and UUID-based report links. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately via our contact form.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
